AGCO Power eHydrogen Concept Engine

Thanks to the flexibility and the design of the AGCO Power CORE engine platform, the 5-liter CORE50 diesel engine can be converted to use emission-free hydrogen – We call it the eHydrogen Concept Engine. For added power and torque, it is fitted with a mild-hybrid system – a 24V battery and an electric flywheel to produce electricity. 

This eHydrogen mild hybrid concept combines the best of hydrogen and electricity and delivers the performance as its diesel counterpart (boosted max power 165 kW, boosted torque 1090 Nm).

The eHydrogen Concept Engine is not yet in production.
