Andrew joined Société Générale in 2013 after more than 25 years professional engineering experience with leading international contractors. His experience includes a broad range of Energy Transition, Renewables, Oil & Gas, LNG, Refinery, Petrochemical, Pipeline and Power projects.
Based in London, Andrew has been involved in more than 100 energy project finance transactions, supporting SG teams worldwide. He advises projects on acceptable (bankable) technical risk allocation and due diligence processes. He has extensive EPC experience and has reviewed contracting, technology, project execution and operating arrangements for over 70 projects as part of SG’s internal risk assessment for credit approval.
Andrew has extensive experience of projects involving hydrogen and carbon capture. He is currently advising ten active green/blue hydrogen projects in Europe, Middle East, Australia and the Americas, as part of SG Advisory teams. He is a member of the SG team engaged by Ren-Gas as “Technical Bank”, for the Tampere Power-to-Gas Project.
Andrew holds a BSc (honours) degree from the University of Manchester. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and a member of both the Institute of Engineering & Technology and the Institute of Measurement and Control.
